Most people
have some level of fear,irrational when spoke about spiders. Whether you are an
actual arachnophobe, just don’t like the 8-legged creatures, on the other hand,
are just plain fascinated by them, the notion of the largest spider in the
world is bound to grab your attention.
It should be noted that although these represent the average leg spans of the world's largest spiders, their body size is often considerably smaller: that of the Lasiodora, found in Brazil, is around 92 mm (3.6 in), while that of the Tegenaris parietina, the largest spider found in Britain, may measure as little as 18 mm (0.7 in).
